Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Another memory foam mattress topper with absolutely no specifications given about it, except sizes available and price. We can only guess by looking at the picture and considering the prices how good this mattress topper is. In situation like that usually the prices are giving us the biggest clues, because when talking about memory foam mattresses and related products the more you pay the better product you get. For us the prices given are worth for a memory foam topper of 1 in thickness and of a lower memory foam density. A memory foam topper with specification like those, in our opinion, is simply not worth buying. It‘s just not gonna serve the purpose you‘re getting it for. Anyway see what‘s given for this particular one:
- Twin = 34"Wx72"L for $16.99
- Full = 49"Wx72"L for $29.99
- Queen = 55"Wx77"L for $34.99
- Dual King = 74"Wx77"L for $44.99
- Cal King = 68"Wx80"L for $44.99
If you still wish to get this product we advise you to request the missing specifications like thickness and density first and then decide if it‘s worth getting.. read more..
8" Visco Memory Foam Mattress by Primo International

There you go – a nice 2 layer memory foam mattress on a decent price. Unlike some of the previous ones we‘ve reviewed for you the 8" Visco Memory Foam Mattress by Primo International definitely deserves your consideration. I know we‘ve said that the many layers the better, but that certainly reflects on the price and for $599.00 we think this one is a pretty good deal even though it‘s made of 2 layers of memory foam. See the specifications as given:
- Mattress Outer Cover - 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester
- Mattress Top Layer - 3" Layer of LT-138 Visco-Elastic Memory Foam, 4.75lbs
- 3" Visco Elastic Memory Foam
- Mattress Bottom Layer - 5" Layer of T107 Foam, 2lbs
- PVC Bottom Cover
- CFR1633 Inner Cover - 50% Polyester, 50% Fiber Glass
- 8-10 Seconds Recovery
The layers combination is a pretty good one (basically a standard one) – 3in upper layer made of softer memory foam (4.75 lb in this case) and a 5in bottom layer made of harder (2lb) memory foam. It‘s great that all the specifications are provided and you don‘t have to request them separately... read more..
Obus Forme Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Now, here‘s a deal you do want to miss out. Looking at the price the first impression you‘re left with is that this should be a nice, well worth product to get. It turns out that it‘s nothing more than overpriced below average memory foam topper. The density of the memory foam is not even mentioned, but considering the fact that it‘s only 1 1/2 in thick we think it‘s not even worth mentioning. To pay $139.95 for a Twin size 1 1/2 in thick memory foam mattress topper, regardless its density, for us is nothing but ridiculous. If you‘ve done some searching you‘ll know that you can find toppers with the same thickness and size for about $50 and even that‘s too much. Anyway, let‘s see the given features:
- High-density memory foam changes shape as you move
- Rejuvenates your current mattress
- Reduces tossing and turning
- Reduces pressure points
The first one is true. The second one is a little exaggerated – the 1 1/2 in thick memory foam mattress will rejuvenate your mattress just as much as if you put 2 blankets underneath you bed sheets. As to the third and forth given features – here we have the real exaggeration – getting a 1 1/2 in thick memory foam topper will be of absolute no help for you if you have any trouble sleeping. It‘s just not thick enough to do the things the website‘s ascribing it.. read more..
Visco Memory Coil 9000 Mattress

This is not something you see every day – a combination between memory foam and spring mattress. On the picture included below you see all the details and how the mattress is structured on the inside.
I‘m not a big fan of this combination, because I don‘t think springs and memory foam go well together as a matter of resilience on the memory foam towards the springs. Still this edurolater pad is supposed to solve that problem and although I have no idea what exactly edurolatel pad is I can only assume it‘s made of a harder material in order to separate the springs from the tender memory foam and not let them hurt it or misshape it. If it works, I think it‘s a good idea. Other than that the 2 pieces of memory foam combined create a 3.5in thick memory foam layer which in my opinion is not that much, but for the price given for the mattress – $161.54, I‘ll say it‘s ok. Another thing that worries me are the sizes. As given in the website they are:
- Jr. Twin Ottoman(Ottoman - a low upholstered seat used as a footstool) - $161.54
- Jr. Twin Chair/Sleeper (additional cost) - $320
- Full Sofa/Sleeper (additional cost) - $435.38
If you‘re like me and thinking what Jr. Twin dimensions are here‘s what‘s given in the description: read more..
King Memory-Pedic 10.5 Mattress

The Memory Pedic 10.5 Mattress has a profile of 10.5 and weighs 140lbs. Features: High-Density VITA Memory Foam is the pressure-reducing component which has taken the sleep industry by storm. Ultra Cel High-Density Convoluted Foam with tips down is built into the sleep system to create air flow every time movement is detected on the surface. Ultra Cel High Resiliency (HR) Foam base provides targeted resistance and support to each sleeper according to their specific weight and profile to reduce the opportunity for lower back pain. Features a 20-year limited warranty. Dimensions: 76x79"
This is the all of the given information about this memory foam mattress. It‘s obvious that this is a three layer memory foam mattress, but again, as in many of the websites, the density of each layer is not provided. All we understand is that combined they create a 10.5in thick memory foam mattress. Still we have to give credit to the site that it provides the type of memory foam that is used (although this is probably of absolutely no use for most of the readers). We‘ve mentioned not once that multi-layer mattresses are better than single layer ones and even though the density of the memory foam layers is skipped we think this is a mattress that deserves your attention.. read more..
Vitalfoam Memory Foam Mattress Pad

Mattress pads can vary in thickness and density of the memory foam just like the mattress toppers and mattresses themselves. This particular one is 3in thick 4.3lb memory visco-elastic foam. Interesting thing is that with this website we find the possibility to choose the memory foam density of the mattress pad you wish to purchase. Beside the 4.3lb density they also provide 5lb and 6lb which are better. It‘s up to you and the finances you wish to spend on your purchase. The 5lb density will cost you $50 over the final mattress pad price and the 6lb - $150 over it. We think this is a good feature to have as it increases your options. As to the memory pad itself – it looks pretty good. Even the 4.3lb is not a bad one. You also have the choice of all sizes and it‘s only up to you and which one suits you best. With the purchase of this mattress pad you’re getting a zippered terry cloth cover. The site also provides the possibility of mattress and pad sets. Basically the mattress pad and the mattress are placed together in a zippered allergy free cover. The mattress foam foundation is 5" thick 2.1 density poly-foam. What you get is 8in of a double layer memory foam mattress. Again a nice option to have. Unfortunately the prices of the sets are not given. The prices of the pads again we find high, but those are indeed good pads to have.
3" Vitalfoam Memory Mattress Pads Sizes:
- Twin 38x75x3" $295
- Twin Long 38x80x3" $305
- Full 54x75x3" $355
- Queen 60x80x3" $455
- King 76x80x3" $555

Memory Luxe Mattress

This is a 9in thick single layer memory foam mattress made of European Visco Memory Foam and Polyfoam. From what is given as characteristics about it the memory foams it‘s made of "are certified and meet the OEKO-TEK standards of 100 Class I requirements. This certification assures that there is no toxicity in the materials used and that all materials are safe for extremely sensitive skin, even the sensitive skin of newborn babies." What‘s lacking in the entire list of specification provided is the density of the memory foams used. This is something we suggest you question either the website or the store salesman before buying a product like that. You know that there are different densities of the memory foam and each density number corresponds to different firmness and softness. It‘s always better to know the density of the memory foam your mattress is made of. Check out the given specifications:
- Top quality European Visco Memory Foam and Polyfoam
- Medicott (R) and sanitized (R) fabric and cover treatment
- Hypo-allergenic and dust mite resistant
- Beneficial for those with sensitive skin, asthma, or allergies

InnerSpace Luxury Sculpted Memory Foam Mattress

Here‘s another very similar to the previous bad mattress…with just some minor changes to its features this is said to be better than the InnerSpace © Indulgence Memory Foam Mattress, but basically is just as bad. What they did to change it is a minor (almost unnoticeable) memory foam thickness change, as now the top layer is 2" thick and the bottom one is 4" thick. Again the total thickness is 6", but at least this time the bottom layer is not Elioform base, but a polyurethane high-density foam one (definitely better). Check this one’s features:
- No motion transfer
- 2" memory foam conforms to your body
- 4" thick Polyurethane high-density foam core provides support
- Sculpted core adds softness and allows for air circulation
- Built-in FlameWatch flame retardant technology meets or exceeds federal standards
- Quilted stretch cover
- Floral jacquard ticking
- State-of-the-art packaging
- Measures approx. 76"W x 80"L x 6" deep
- Cover: 79.7% polyester, 20.3% Polypropylene
- Fill: 100% Polyurethane foam
- Spot clean only

InnerSpace Indulgence Memory Foam Mattress

A mattress somehow different from the last two reviewed – it‘s again a memory foam one, but here you‘ll notice how much the quality of that same foam matters when it comes to good and comfortable mattress. The previous two mattresses we offered you were 2 layered memory foam ones with total thickness of 10". This one is of total 6" thick and is made by 1" of plush, Visco-elastic memory foam and a 5" Elioform base. What‘s the difference? Thickness is one of the indicators of good memory foam. Usually higher density memory foam is used for the thicker bottom layer as it‘s harder and makes a nice base. The lower density memory foam is used for the thinner upper layer of the mattress as it is softer and comfortable – both (or more if there are more layers) make one good comfortable mattress. For instance the last mattress reviewed was made of 7" thick memory foam for the bottom layer and 3" thick one for the upper layer. This one (considering the given parameters) is made of 5" thick memory foam bottom layer and only 1" thick memory foam upper layer – which is absolutely not enough on my opinion. Especially with a price of $729.00. The mattress is highly uncomfortable and gets a lot of bad reviews – justified ones by all means. 1" of memory foam is basically no memory foam at all. We‘ll show you the mattress features just because we have to, but we, just like many other people who’ve purchased it, do not recommend it. See the features:
- Measures approx. 76" x 80" x 6"
- For use with height-adjustable bed frames, platform beds or slatted frames
- Jacquard cover - 47% cotton/23% polpropylene/30% polyester
- Fill - polyurethane foam pad
- Dry clean removable cover
- Comes with manufacturer‘s 30-day no-obligation sleep test
- Comes with manufacturer‘s 20-year limited warranty
